Our Story
Ange’ Belle Homegoods may be my business, but the heart behind it began long before I ever dreamed of having a shop of my own.
My grandmother, Erma Lomax, had a way of making ordinary moments feel special. She was the woman who brought out the pretty napkins, used the pretty plates and always added those little extras that made you feel cared for and made a home feel welcoming.
And she always said,
“It’s the little things.”
Those words stayed with me.
I’ve always loved sewing, creating and finding beautiful things that are also useful. Over time, that love grew into Ange’ Belle Homegoods—a place where I could bring together all the things I love: pretty things for the home, thoughtful gifts, useful everyday favorites and those little extras that can turn something ordinary into something special.
And as much as I love creating, family is truly at the center of my life.
I’m a mom to three grown children, and I love the families they’ve created. One of my very favorite roles is being Lollie to my three grandchildren. I treasure the time I get to spend with my mom, and I’m so grateful for Shawn, who is always beside me—supporting my ideas, helping behind the scenes and being part of this little adventure with me.
I’m lucky to have generations of family around me, and I think that’s a big part of why traditions, thoughtful gifts and the little details of home mean so much to me.
Because sometimes it really is something small.
The pretty towel hanging in the kitchen.
A gift chosen especially for someone.
Something sweet for a grandchild.
A beautifully wrapped package.
Or using the pretty napkins and plates instead of saving them for “someday.”
Those are the things that make a house feel like home and ordinary days feel just a little more special.
So whether I’m sewing in my workroom, putting together a gift, choosing something new for the shop or dreaming up my next collection, I still find myself coming back to the words I grew up hearing:
“It’s the little things.”
It was my grandmother’s way of making life a little more beautiful.
And today, it’s the heart of Ange’ Belle.
